Description

LBN670 is a part of IC1848 or the Soul Nebula, a large emission nebula located about 6,500 ly's away in the constellation Cassiopeia.  IC1848 contains large cavities that were carved out by the radiation and winds of the area's largest stars.  The radiation and winds push the existing gas and dust together creating successive generations of star formation.
